Our investments in dispatchable renewable capacity (like hydro) enable the NEM to integrate over 20% more wind, solar, and hydro generation. This translates to a significant reduction in emissions – over 33 million tonnes of CO2 displaced annually. That’s a 28% decrease in NEM emissions from 2022 levels, and an incredible 13% contribution to Australia’s total emissions reduction target for 2030.
